This book is all about how a mouse will continue to ask for more and more from you if you simply give him a cookie.

I think it was written by an overwhelmed mom and it's a metaphor for human children. I think it was also written to teach children what it's like to be a parent so they are more thankful and appreciative of all we do for them.
